    Radiology Technologist I- Imaging

    Shift: Full-Time Days- Mon-Fri, flexible scheduling hours- NO CALL

    10K Student Loan Repayment

    As an Radiology Technologist at Newport Medical Center, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients.     Requirements:

    • Current BLS from AHA or ARC
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Associate's degree from an accredited program and registration as a technologist by the A.R.R.T. Bachelors degree preferred.
    • Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
    • NEW Grads are welcome
    About the Job:
    • Create x-ray images of the human body using radiographic equipment assisting in the diagnosis of medical problems. Works under general supervision.
    • Perform cleanliness and sanitary procedures as required by department or patient needs. Stock rooms as necessary. Analyzes patient's body size, thickness, general physical condition, age and suspected pathology.
    • Set, adjust and manipulate x-ray equipment into specified position and adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors. Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff.
