    Essential Functions:


    Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.

    Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.


    Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.


    Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.

    Audits quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.

    Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.


    May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality.


    Basic Qualifications:


    BS degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline plus 14 Years experience; 12 Years with Masters; 9 Years with PhD.

    Ability to work flexible or extended hours and travel offsite as required to support business needs.

    Self-starter with demonstrated problem-solving skills who can work independently with minimal direction.

    Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% to support business needs


    Preferred Qualifications:
    GMD or related missile defense program experience

    Proficient SAP user

    Proficient Jira user

    Process improvement implementation experience

    Working with Agile Framework and Methodologies

    Supply Chain Management & Procurement experience

    Software development lifecycle understanding

    Extensive experience conducting audits and inspections on site at a supplier facility

    AS9100 Auditor certification and/or extensive knowledge of the AS9100 standard

    IPC-620 certified


    Salary Range:
    $143,100 - $214,700


    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

    Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.

    In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
