    We have an opportunity for a Territory Account Manager to join our Oil & Gas Separations sales team covering the south Texas territory This business manufactures sustainable gas separation and filtration technologies, primarily for the midstream and downstream Oil and Gas and Chemical Processing markets.

    You will own your territory and sell Pentair's products, solutions, and technologies primarily to end-users.

    This is a technical sales role that will require you to develop a strong understanding of our technology to build short- and long-term value with technical and functional wins throughout the sales cycle.


    This is a territory sales role and candidates can live anywhere within the territory, including San Antonio, TX and Corpus Christi, TX.
    You Will

    Maximize sales revenue of established accounts, as well as targeting new business opportunities and new customers, through the development of key sales relationships.

    Provide on-site technical presentations and demonstrations of products to customers.
    Collaborate with internal teams in the bid and proposal process by clearly understanding all customer needs and expectations.
    Listen and understand end-user's needs to continuously innovate new solutions, grow market-share, and penetrate new markets.

    Anticipate and plan for changing trends in the market and develop sales tools and account plans to achieve the sales targets and goals.

    Key Qualifications
    Have earned a Bachelor's (B.A. or B.S.) degree.

    2+ years of B2B sales experience demonstrating a strong sales aptitude, including ability to understand customer needs and requirements, identify solutions, build long-term dynamic relationships, and driven to find new markets, channels, and/or accounts.

    3-5 years of professional experience in the oil and gas industry, specifically midstream, downstream and/or chemical processing.

    Strong technical aptitude, including ability to understand and interpret mechanical systems (processing, filtration, etc), process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation drawings (P&IDs), bills of material (BOM), and/or layout drawings preferred.

    Excellent presentation skills, including ability to present technical product information and/or training to end-users and channel partners.
    Travel
    60% of time in front of customers in the territory, which could include some overnight stays.
