Service Desk Analyst - Charleston, United States - Insight Global
Description
Day to Day:
A client of Insight Global is looking for a Service Desk Analyst to join their team in Charleston, WV to provide support to internal employees on a national level.
They will be responsible for running with all tickets via phone (around 25 calls/day), email, and walk-up/in person.They will be supporting Mobile OS Devices, Windows Operating Systems, and provide general support and troubleshooting (including lockdowns, connectivity issues, password reset, etc.).
Working with technical and non-technical customers, so you must be able to explain troubleshooting steps in laymans terms. The ideal candidate has a passion for IT, drive for future goals, and excellent communication.There will training the first few weeks on site 5 days, and post training the candidates will have flexibility to work a hybrid schedule.
Plusses:
Associates degree or above
Strong communication/soft skills
Must Haves:
1-3+ Years of Service Desk Experience (will take a fresh graduate if they have experience in school)
o Troubleshooting / Office Suite / Hardware
Experience utilizing a ticketing system ServiceNow preferred but any ticketing system is good
Experience with or exposure to VMWare
