Vaco is looking to hire a Senior Loss Prevention & Compliance Officer based in Marshall, MN

• The Senior Loss Prevention & Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that the Company's operations align with guidelines, regulations, and ethical standards in the retail sector. This involves monitoring business activities, identifying infractions, assessing potential risks, and staying updated on legal requirements for new projects.

• Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Senior Loss Prevention & Compliance Officer collaborates closely with the Director of Human Resources on Safety and Worker's Compensation matters.
• In addition, this role manages the Loss Prevention Manager, Safety & Worker's Compensation Manager, and the Federal Firearms License Coordinators.

• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with legal standards and internal policies related to Loss Prevention, Safety & Worker's Compensation, and Federal Firearms Licensing.
• Establish and oversee a comprehensive Loss Prevention Program to minimize inventory loss, enhance customer service, and support Company growth.
• Develop and implement a Safety Program aimed at reducing workplace incidents and injuries.
• Analyze internal processes to confirm alignment with industry regulations and ethical norms.
• Review, update, and enforce Company policies concerning Loss Prevention, Safety & Worker's Compensation, and Federal Firearms Licensing.
• Devise risk management plans and conduct internal audits to prevent theft and ensure proper procedures are followed across the organization's locations.
• Monitor compliance with ATF requirements for firearms handling.
• Create training initiatives for staff members.
• Collaborate with department heads to maintain congruence with business policies.
• Advise senior management on investment strategies, risk assessment, and policy enhancements.
• Ensure physical security by managing loss prevention tools and systems within buildings and facilities.
• Prepare and deliver reports to Executive Management to keep them informed about loss prevention, safety, and compliance progress.
• Handle emergency protocols and undertake significant travel to various organizational sites.
• Perform any other duties necessary to fulfill the role's objectives.

• Minimum of five years experience in Compliance/Loss Prevention.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Legal Studies, or Business Administration is preferred.
