    The Role

    You will spearhead the development and implementation of our social media, content, and community strategy.

    This includes building a content and social media calendar, crafting content campaigns targeted to our audiences, contributing to social media posts, blogs, contributed content to news organizations, developing videos for YouTube, and ultimately, crafting interesting and well-researched content that drives traffic and engages our prospects and customers.

    You will also be responsible for developing strategies to engage community members, recruit ambassadors, and leverage champions to promote JoVE across owned, earned and paid channels.

    Responsibilities

    Create, curate and manage daily social media posts across multiple social media channels.

    Craft interesting, well-researched social media, campaign and blog content, including white papers, blog posts, website copy, eBooks, case studies, webinars, videos, presentations, speeches, and other content as needed, to drive traffic, engage and convert target customers.

    Launch and manage a community and influencer marketing program aimed at increasing JoVE's recommendations and referrals for researchers, librarians and faculty members
    Continuously measure and improve content performance; creating weekly reports leveraging Google Analytics, HubSpot, social media and other analytics tools.
    Build and maintain editorial calendar and written guidelines.
    Create and manage targeted brand campaigns, measure results and report performance

    Work closely with senior leaders, marketing teammates, and other departments to create effective communications strategies that articulate our product's core benefits properly and consistently.

    Create customer case studies and testimonial videos, supporting the success story process, interviews, and writing of all content.

    Requirements

    A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or relatable field
    5+ years of experience in B2B Marketing managing social media.
    Strong communication, editing and copywriting skills.
    Strong knowledge of content marketing strategies and channels, with an editorial mindset
    Knowledge of Adobe products, WordPress, HubSpot and Microsoft Office Suite
    Skilled at light video editing and graphic design
    High level of English speaking and writing is a must; other European languages a plus (i.e. Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, French, etc).
    Brand management experience is a plus.
    Creative and organized thinker, self-starter, motivated and highly flexible.
    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment with shifting priorities.
