    LOCATION: PLATTE, SD

    CNC Machinist/Programmer

    Great opportunity to relocate to river life in Platte, SD Platte is a town of 1400 people located 15 minutes from the beautiful Missouri River and 1 hour from Mitchell. We have a strong main street, a 9-hole golf course, bowling alley, swimming pool, fitness center, and multiple parks.

    CAM experience is strongly preferred for this position, however, on the job training may be provided for the proper applicant. Wages will be adjusted accordingly.

    Tasks:

    • Programming: Create and edit CNC programs using CAM software
    • Setup: Load tools, workholding, and programs to prepare CNC for operation
    • Quality Control: Read prints, determine necessary measurements, and take accurate measurements to insure quality parts
    • Operate: Saw material, change out parts, measure and inspect, and maintain fluid levels during production
    • Maintenance: Keep a safe and clean work environment as well as periodic maintenance on machines
    • Manual Machining: Limited manual machine work to support production.
    • Other Duties as Assigned

    Benefits:

    • $28-38/hr for fully qualified candidate, adjusted DOE
    • Flexible family friendly work schedule
    • 40hr week, optional half day on Fridays, or go to four 10's after experienced
    • Overtime available depending on workload
