    Job Description:
    Provide high quality math interventions to studetns in grades 6th, 7th and 8th grade. Develop and implement programs to support students with Tier 3 specific math intervention needs. Supporting and provide students with Tier 2 math intervention needs as a member of grade-level content teams. Serve as a consultant to school personnel and parents of these students. Assist in the development and implementation of math intervention plans for general education students, as part of a team. Help lead schoolwide MTSS and PLC processes and systems.

    Qualifications:


    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
    • Valid Montana Educator's Certificate in K-8 Teaching/Math/SPED/Counseling or ability to be certified by the start of the school year.
    Preferred Qualifications:


    • K-8 Certified, MATH, or SPED
    • Experience in similar position assisting the building principal with the comprehensive school wide academic plan and interventions.
    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:


    • Communicate effectively in written and oral form using positive interpersonal skills
    • Ability to develop and implement academic intervention plans, develop and refine schoolwide MTSS processes, help lead PLC meetings.

    Assist the principal in the overall administration of the school; interpret and enforce school and school district policies and regulations.



    • Ability to evaluate effective instructional strategies and techniques
    • Experience in the development and implementation of effective curricular/learning programs
    • Experience in the development and implementation of progress monitoring systems for academincs and behavior
    • Experience in data collection and data analysis
    • Experience with group facilitation and problem-solving strategies
    • Ability to effectively lead/facilitate group processes
    10.

    Experience in the development and implementation of the Pyramid Model (Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3 Interventions) in regards to academic supports.
