    Requirements:

    The Billing Clerk - Hybrid - sorts, codes, submits, approves and enters data associated with preparing receivable invoices for assigned Customers; assists with receivables and contractor payable functions, to include initial invoice creation, collection of deliverables, and receipt of materials.

    Once the training has been complete, this position has the option to work remotely 4 days a week.


    Billing Clerk Responsibilities:

    • Maintains accurate client and work order records that are in place for all assigned work, including but not limited to: customer billing information, signed agreements, deliverables, and all pertinent work details.
    • Ensures that invoices are processed according to company policy and signed project agreements.
    • Ensures that all assigned work is billed within the established window of completion and verifies that all work being billed is profitable.
    • Work with other departments to determine discrepancies between actual material usage and bid material usage, actual labor usages and bid labor usage; reconcile as necessary.
    • Resolve any missing invoices by communicating with contractors, techs and others as needed.
    • Assist Finance department with month and year-end invoicing processes.

    Billing Clerk Qualifications & Experience:

    • Associates Degree with accounting focus or 1 year billing/related experience

    Billing Clerk Skills/Abilities:

    • Intermediate level Outlook, Excel and Word
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to process high volume work orders / strong data entry skills
    • Strong attention to detail
