Job Description:

Welcome to our company! We are currently looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will work closely with the CFO to maintain the general ledger and prepare financial reports tracking the organization's assets, liabilities, P&Ls, tax liabilities, and other financial activities. We are seeking a candidate who is eager to take on more responsibilities and grow in expertise.

Responsibilities:

Lead 12B Residential's Accounting team and implement strategies set by senior leadership
Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, improve processes for efficiency and accuracy
Assist in corporate reporting and accurate monthly reporting for various operating companies
Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and tax package reporting
Manage company credit card processes, ensuring compliance with expense policies
Oversee payroll, profit centers, and overhead allocation processes
Handle special projects and assist as needed to meet deadlines

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Minimum of four years of accounting experience
Experience in a senior role reviewing internal and external reports
Familiarity with general ledger systems, journal entries, and financial statements
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to handle confidential information with accuracy and attention to detail
CPA and experience in a multi-entity environment preferred

Collaborate with the CFO, Accounting team, and other key leaders
