Job Overview
Description
We seek a Licensed Psychologist to conduct medical assessments on United States Veterans for the VA's disability benefits process.
In this role, you will electronically review behavioral health records via a secure Web Portal and conduct a thorough assessment in person for each Veteran.
You will also fill out Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal.
The Licensed Psychologist is NOT involved in making disability determinations. The U.S. Veterans Administration handles all disability determinations, using data from the recorded DBQs.
This position STRICTLY conducts Disability Assessments on Veterans. It does NOT involve treatment or medication prescription.
On average, the Licensed Psychologist will evaluate and assess 3 (sometimes 4) Veterans per day.
As an Independent Contractor, the Licensed Psychologist will be engaged for this role.
Schedule 3 days a week (Mon, Tue, Wed)
This is an ON-SITE position.
