    POSITION SUMMARY:


    The LG EVC Factory Quality Department manages the quality of products for customers and serves as a quality partner for outsourcing companies.

    The

    Outgoing Quality Assurance Supervisor

    is responsible for ensuring company products adhere to internal and external specifications. This position will also aim to achieve the high standards of customer satisfaction.


    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    Responsible for the quality of outgoing components, quality control, production process

    Perform daily quality inspections, Outgoing process and received product as required by company inspection and test plan

    Identify areas for improvement in inspection processes, troubleshoot quality issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions to address root causes of defects

    Communicate to convey inspection requirements, quality standards, and training objectives clearly to inspectors, as well as to collaborate with cross-functional teams

    Develop and maintain documentation related to inspection procedures, quality standards, and training materials, as well as generate reports on inspection results and quality performance metrics

    Comply with all environmental, health and safety SOP's, and equipment policies/procedures including any requests by other departments

    Provide the production team with various supports such as quality system design and audit, and compliance assessment. Help the team steadily carry out distribution processes

    Report on management reviews after analyzing whether the products and processes (including actions or decisions conducted) adhere to standards

    Monitor quality metrics and analyze leading and lagging indicators to improve product quality

    Assist the manager in overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operation of the team

    Collaborate with the manager to identify training needs and develop programs to address skill gaps and promote professional growth

    Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

    EDUCATION/


    EXPERIENCE:
    Associate degree in engineering or related field.

    Experience in quality assurance methodologies.

    0-2 years of experience in quality assurance or related field

    Knowledge of manufacturing and quality control processes and methodologies, such as Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles.

    Familiarity with regulatory standards in the industry (such as ISO 9001)


    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
    Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

    Proficiency in various inspection techniques, such as visual inspection, measurement, and testing methods relevant to the specific products being manufactured

    Experience in providing work guidance, technical advice, training, and mentoring to inspectors and other employees

    Experience with EV Charging system or similar products would be a plus

    Quality related certificates preferred

    Advanced level - Microsoft office


    OTHER REQUIREMENTS
    Excellent oral and written communication skills for preparing effective reports

    Excellent interpersonal skills for facilitating relationships with local teams, leadership, and customers

    Creative problem-solving skills to gather relevant information to solve less well- defined problems

    Ability to manage daily tasks effectively and meet firm deadlines

    Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and projects in a dynamic, fast paced environment

    Flexibility and adaptability are key. Detail-oriented and organized


    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS


    Physical ability to frequently assume various positions such as sitting, standing, walking, reaching within hands and arm's length, stooping, kneeling, and crouching in the duration of shift.

    Exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push,

    pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
