- Reliability Engineer provides leadership and mentoring to a multi-discipline/multi-product engineering team and will be responsible for leading the development of moderate to high complex system level requirements, designs and verification plans
- Recommend new approaches and techniques to achieve continuous improvement in systems development processes.
- Lead direct technical interface with multiple customers.
- Create complete safety documents (Functional Hazard Analysis, System Safety Assessment, and System Safety Hazard Analysis).
- Liaise with program leaders and customers to understand their requirements, propose engineering alternatives, and resolve any product related issues.
- Establish, conduct and maintain internal design reviews and guidelines for product development and engineering designs
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Computer or Systems Engineering from an accredited institution and a minimum of 7 years of applicable experience
- In depth experience with DOORS
- Experience performing reliability engineering functions, such as creating Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA), conducting Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) analyses
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance #cj
