- Conduct patient assessments, examinations, and medical histories.
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and infections.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays and lab work.
- Prescribe medications and provide appropriate follow-up care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Perform minor medical procedures as needed.
- Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Current New York State license
- Previous experience in urgent care or a similar fast-paced healthcare setting.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Knowledge of current healthcare regulations and best practices.
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner program.
