Summary

Under direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Helper is responsible for maintaining a clean environment inside and outside the space of each location. They will assist with routine general maintenance items and handle custodial work duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Keeps sidewalks clean and employee walkways clear
• Removes snow and debris from sidewalks
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs and office space
• Empties garbage inside and outside the facility
• Wipes up kitchen countertops and tables
• Changes lightbulbs and wipes down shop lights
• Maintains grass and landscaping at all locations
• Performs general building maintenance tasks as needed

Qualifications: Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Previous custodial experience preferred
