    About the Role:

    This role presents an excellent opportunity to work on a collection of lending products including personal loans, lines of credit as well as developing new product offerings.

    In this role, you will be self-driven and passionate about lending economics and partner externally and internally to ensure success.


    What You Will Do:
    Manage, document and create credit risk policy for consumer lending portfolio.

    Monitor and evaluate performance of loan portfolio by utilizing various statistical and analytical techniques, tools, and benchmarking to proactively identify risks and opportunities.

    Develop underwriting strategies to maximize profitability while remaining within the banks risk appetite.

    Analyze opportunities for new product opportunities and provide analytical support for prioritization decisions and ultimately the growth strategy for the company.

    Partner with the Legal, Compliance and Credit Governance team to ensure all strategies and policies are accurately documented and comply with all applicable regulatory requirements.

    Collaborate with vendors and technology teams to ensure new strategies and models are implemented accurately and as designed.
    Conduct other ad hoc analyses as required to support the Credit Team's goals.


    What You Will Need:


    Bachelors degree in Statistics, Math, Economics, Finance, or equivalent experience5-7 years of experience in credit risk management, preferably in the consumer credit industryStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with solid business acumenExceptional written and communication skills, and ability to explain complex insights to a range of audiencesSelf-driven, with intense focus on resultsStrong team player and comfortable interacting with partners across areas and at varying levels of seniorityStrong technical skills such as SAS, SQL, R/Python, and ability to independently access and analyze relational data setsKnowledge and experience with statistical analysis techniques, customer segmentation and credit bureau data.

    Experience with automated decision engine software, including strategy and custom scorecard implementations.

    Salary range:
    $69,098.54 $127,614.10The salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this role. Individual pay within the range will be determined by multiple factors which can include but are not limited to a candidates experience, qualifications, skills, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary for your location during the hiring process. Ranges may be modified in the future.
    This role is also eligible for an annual performance-based incentive opportunity.
