POSITION SUMMARY

A Software Engineer plays a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining Savana's core products, including Core Platform, Banker Experience, Customer Experience, Teller Experience, and Banking APIs. The Software Engineer is tasked with translating business requirements into source code, ensuring familiarity with APIs, debugging, and possessing a deep understanding of cross-platform web and mobile-based programming. Collaboration with Architects, Product Designers, and Quality Assurance team members is essential to deliver features and fixes that meet all requirements.

LOCATION

This position offers flexibility as either a hybrid or remote role.

REQUIRED SKILL SETS

2+ years of experience in technologies such as Flutter, C#, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, MVC, RESTful API, AWS, and Azure
Solid understanding of the development life cycle and experience with third-party libraries/APIs integration
Proficiency in state management, application testing, and version control systems like TFS and Github
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Capacity to prioritize tasks and work both collaboratively and independently
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and adept at preparing technical documentation
Experience with XML, HTML, CSS, Flow-charts, and UML diagrams
Proficient in utilizing OS, Microsoft Office products, and tools like JIRA and Confluence

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Understanding of .NET 8.0+, OOP concepts, and design patterns
Experience with Angular Material, NgRx, Flutter for iOS/Android apps, and native mobile app development
Knowledge of agile development, automated testing, and familiarity with API structures
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, with a preference for banking or BPM/workflow software experience

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining features for Savana's web and mobile banking experiences
Collaborating with various teams to create software that aligns with business goals
Keeping applications up to date with tech ecosystem changes and improving SDLC processes
Collaborating with Quality Assurance Analysts to ensure software quality
Providing operational support, fixing software issues, and enhancing software suites
Gaining product expertise and staying updated on emerging technologies
Configuration of software applications and providing application expertise for banking projects

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent field
Preference for AWS/Azure certification
