    Nursing Assistant Position at RWJ Rahway



    Status:
    Full-Time


    Shift:
    Evening


    Facility:
    RWJ Rahway Hospital


    Job Overview:
    The Nursing Assistant plays a vital role in providing care within the healthcare system while adhering to ethical standards set by the ANA code of ethics.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Ensuring safety in practice
    • Identifying and reporting safety issues
    • Communicating effectively with all involved in patient care
    • Individualizing patient care plans


    Requirements:
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 1-2 years of relevant experience
    • Basic Life Support Certification from AHA
    • Proficient in English

    Qualifications:
    • Minimum 1 year of Critical Care unit experience
    • Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
    • Completion of orientation programs

    Certifications and Licenses Required:
    • New Jersey CNA licensure
    • American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
    • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

    Scheduling:
    Evening Shift, Full-Time (36 hours per week)
