    Job DescriptionRES Exhibit Services LLC is one of the leading companies in the tradeshow industry. We are seeking a self-motivated and dedicated individual who values teamwork, innovation and excellence to support our team.     We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant.

    Reporting to the VP of Finance, this position manages analyzes job costing, monitors inventory, prepares monthly journal entries and participates in monthly and year-end closings.


    Responsibilities:

    • \tPerform job costing duties, including verifying the assignment of accurate material and labor charges.
    • \tAccounting of inventory related accounts at month-end closing including the support of physical inventories
    • \tSupport the execution of the monthly close process with responsibility for recording transactions in the general ledger including scheduled computations of accruals, payroll, cash activity, cost allocations and reclassifications.
    • \tResponsible for accurately reconciling assigned balance sheet accounts with supporting documentation.
    • \tParticipate in business and operational initiatives including business process and operational improvements and cost savings initiatives.
    • \tAssist in annual accounting close.

    Requirements:

    • \tAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting (or related field)
    • \t2+ years of accounting related experience
    • \tEnergetic, self-starter, ability to thrive in a fast paced, changing environment
    • \tAttention to detail and solid organizational and workload prioritization skills
    • \tTeam player with effective verbal and written communication skills
    • \tStrong Microsoft Excel skills
