- Evaluation, treatment and provision of direct care to patients in the clinic setting
- Provide clinical guidance to other members of the healthcare team as needed
- Participate in performance improvement and quality management projects as assigned
- Conduct history and physical examination to include mental health examinations, intake assessments, substance use disorders assessments and suicide risk evaluations.
- Provide treatment for patients with co-occurring SUD and general mental health disorders in an outpatient setting
- Experience with the full range of medication assisted treatment (MAT) options, including for substance use disorder
- Opioid use disorders and treatment with buprenorphine in its various forms
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
- Active, unrestricted NYS License
- Active DEA Waiver
- Active X-Waiver preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team setting
- Familiarity with high-risk patients and cultural sensitivity in community settings
- Must be skilled in psychopharmacology
