Description
TheDirector of Accounting
will play a key finance and accounting role within the organization and will be a key member of the team supporting the Company's high growth objectives, goals, and strategies under the guidance of the CFO.
They will be responsible for leading the accounting function, month end close, audit, risk management and optimizing related systems and processes.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for all accounting Policy and SEC reporting with emphasis on GAAP and SEC compliance; Preparation and review of 10-Q's, 10-K's including Research, preparation and implementation of accounting position papers including implementation of accounting policies and procedures relating to the Financial Statements and internal controls.
Management and supervision of, General Accounting, Payroll, AR, AP , gross-to-net and Inventory areas.
Budgeting and Forecasting
Cash
Acquisition accounting
Analysis and presentation of monthly GAAP financial results to executive management and the Board of Directors
Supervision, evaluation and development of staff.
Management and supervision of Share Based Compensation.
SOX compliance, Main contact for both internal and external auditors in GAAP and SOX audits relating to the Financial Statements.
Gross to Net accounting and related reserves
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Actively contributes to the evolution and execution of the organization's strategic and operational plans, by providing a dependable source of information to enable sound business decisions.
Enact plans to further automate financial systems and processes including, but is not limited to, financial reporting, order to cash, purchase to pay, tax compliance and management reporting.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business with a minimum of 7+ years of related finance and accounting experience; C.P.A.
ublic accounting firm, Big 4 preferred
, SEC
and management reporting and analysis.
Highly Preferred:
$150-170K DOE
