    QUALIFICATIONS:

    EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

     Must have High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED).

     Must be at least 18 years of age.

     Must possess any state or federal required documentation for driving passengers.

     Previous driving experience.

     Knowledge of emergency procedures.

     Ability to drive in diverse road conditions.

     Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.

     Must have the ability to effectively interact with the customers and associates.

     Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    1. Drives and controls rail-guided transportation, an electric-powered or hydraulic trolley, in order to transport passengers.

    2. Must be conversational with guests, remembering that the Trolley Driver will create a lasting impression for the guests.

    3. Treats all passengers, guests and associates in a courteous, friendly and professional manner.

    4. Assist ADA passengers as needed while safely performing operation procedures.

    5. Monitors trolley, weather conditions and safety for passengers.

    6. Maintains an accurate timepiece and passenger counter and records accurately.

    7. Monitors lights indicating obstructions or other trains ahead and watches for car and truck traffic at crossings to stay alert to potential hazards.

    8. Directs emergency evacuation procedures.

    9. Regulates vehicle speed and the time spent at each stop, in order to maintain schedules.

    10. Reports delays, mechanical problems, and emergencies to supervisor and manager, using radios.

    11. Make announcements to passengers, such as notifications of upcoming stops or schedule delays.

    12. Files necessary reports in case of an accident or incident with assigned vehicle or an injury to passenger and operators. Submits verbal and written reports on accidents or incidents as required.

    13. Maintains cleanliness of property vehicle and reports any maintenance needed to the supervisor and manager every day.

    14. Must maintain good driving record and report any violations to supervisor and manager within four days.

    15. Attend meetings on driver and passenger safety in order to learn ways in which job performance might be affected.

    16. Performs other duties as reasonably requested by Management.
