- Oversee the monthly financial reporting package
- Review the 3rd party administrator and identify any discrepancies
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting and cashflow analysis across the group
- Review and prepare the NAV packages
- Prepare quarterly valuations
- Work closely with the partners and help drive the strategic direction of the firm
- Assist with recruiting and staffing efforts as the firm continues to grow
- Lead the annual audit and prepare any supporting documentation
- Bachelors in accounting/finance - CPA would a plus
- Prior experience overseeing a portfolio of private equity funds
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Prior experience working with a 3rd party administrator and reviewing the financials
- Comfortable being hands on and working closely with the leadership group

Description
Coda Search is partnering with a growing private equity group that is seeking to hire a CFO with offices located in Fairfield County, CT. The is a dynamic PE group that operates across 2 funds and is looking to launch its next fund later this year. The team is looking to hire its first CFO who will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day accounting and finance functions including the monthly financial reporting package, budgeting/forecasting and working closely with its 3rd party administrator.
The team is in growth mode and this person will be pivotal in the firms growth as it continues to launch new funds and expand its presence across the US
