    Description:looking for Material Handler candidates for night shift

    Hours:
    Swing Shift (2 on 2 off, 3 on 2 off rotating (candidate will work 7 of 14 days
    Day Shift: 4:00am to 4:00pm- (2)

    Night Shift: 4:00pm to 4:00amPay:
    • Morning shift: $19/hr
    • Night shift: $20/hrOnce the candidate goes permanent, they will be given a $1/hr raise

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Loading/unloading coils onto/off of trucks using a forklift and matching the bill of lading against the work order or receiving report
    • Checking work orders to determine if coil is to be packaged for shipment or processed further in house
    • Pulling coils off the coil car or turnstile, weighing coil, and recording correct weight and coil number, both on the coil and the appropriate paperwork
    • Receiving paint, solvent and other plant supplies
    • Staging coil and metal materials with sitdown forklift
    • Packaging and banding of metal coils

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    Must Haves:

    • 2+ years of Forklift experience
    • 3+ years of material handling in an industrial setting (whether in shipping and receiving or replenishment of materials)
    • Job Tenure (2+ years at each place worked)
    • Ability to consistently lift 50+ pounds
    • Ability to work overtime as needed

    Would Be Nice:

    • Previous experience working in coil processing facility
    • Experience with bills of lading/logistics paperwork
    • Leadership experience in an industrial environment
    Experience Level:Entry Level
