    Job Description

    Minimum 1+ years of speech therapy experience required.
    Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists who:
    • Enjoy working with elementary school students
    • Are adaptable to a long term substitute role
    Soliant is collaborating with a close-knit school community in Norristown, PA, and is in need of a contract SLP to support the remainder of the academic year.

    Requirements:
    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
    • Pennsylvania SLP license
    • Pennsylvania Department of Education education certificate is highly preferred
    Responsibilities as a schools-based Speech-Language Pathologist:
    • Assess new referrals' communication skills and determine eligibility for speech services
    • Establish Individual Education Plan (IEP) objectives and provide recommendations for speech services
    • Regularly reassess students and adjust IEP objectives when necessary
    • Conduct meetings and generate reports for speech student referrals or dismissals
    • Keep detailed service logs, treatment notes, and monitor student progress using a combination of observations and test data
