    Description
    Wholesale bakery in Central Los Angeles is looking for a Sales & Administrative Assistant.

    Office position, full-time, Monday to Friday office hours.

    We are looking for someone who has excellent people skills and can make a connection with our customers while gathering the necessary information for their orders. You will provide product/services information and resolve any problems that our customers may have with accuracy and efficiency. The individual applying for this position must be flexible, self-motivated, and have a professional attitude.

    Qualified candidates should have a minimum of two years' experience in customer service and office administrative work. Foodservice distribution sales and/or knowledge in the market preferred.
    Duties:
    • Address wholesale customer inquiries by phone and emails.
    • Assess needs, sales support, create merchant files, product recommendations, order entries, and invoicing.
    • Catering inquiries, quotes, and payment processing.
    • Various office work duties and printing documents.
    • Work on sales and accounting.
    • Logistics and drivers' routes overview.
    Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree or more.
    • Previous experience 2 yrs minimum at the same position in a food wholesaler or catering company is preferred.
    Skills:
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) + Google sheets, formulas, crosstables, etc).
    • Good at math and good at sales/numbers.
    • Internet research savvy.
    • Knowledge of bread and cake baking of French pastry.
    • Perfect English is spoken; Spanish & French are a plus.
    • Ability to maintain excellent customer service skills, even during busy times.
    • Ability to multi-task and work independently.
    • Excellent typing and data entry skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
    • Good communication and writing skills.
    • Must be a team player and work well with others.
