Key Job Responsibilities
Maintenance, repair, service and inspection of the mining equipment
Able to diagnose Mechanical, Hydraulic and electrical systems
Adjust, repair or replace all defective equipment parts, components or systems serviced at customer sites
Test the repaired equipment for proper performance
Equivalent to complete accredited apprenticeship in a recognized trade, craft or occupation; or equivalent to a one year technical college education.
Experience with motor controls, circuit's installations, reading and understanding schematics, PLC's, Digital Drives and general troubleshootingKnowledge on how to align couples on motors, transfer cases and gearboxes
Qualifications/Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Associate Degree in Diesel Technology or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Flexibility to work various schedules including shift work.
