    Job Summary

    • As the Staff Accountant, you will undertake all aspects of financial management, including accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, and the development of internal control policies and procedures with company leadership. Staff Accountant responsibilities will also include financial risk management.

    Responsibilities

    • Generate weekly financial statements P&L, AR, and Balance Sheets Cash
    • Management and forecasting
    • Invoicing
    • Credit card transactions
    • Payroll review and approvals
    • Managing all finance and accounting operations
    • Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts
    • and report variances
    • Preparing and publishing timely weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial
    • statements
    • Support month-end and year-end close process
    • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
    • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain
    • and strengthen internal controls
    • Overseeing regulatory reporting, frequently including tax planning and compliance
    • Work with company CPA to file taxes
    • Additional bookkeeping duties as necessary

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
    • 2+ years experience in accounting
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
    • QuickBooks Online
