HRmango is seeking a DevOps Engineer for an exciting opportunity for a confidential client in Salt Lake City, UT This role will be hybrid remote with 2 days per week required on site.
Position Overview:
As a DevOps Engineer for our client, you will be responsible for establishing and leading the DevOps practices. This role will manage the adoption of DevOps and a culture of continuous improvement.
In this role, you will also closely work with the Technical Architect to define and implement the DevOps Roadmap for the program.

You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for improvements and drive those to completion
You will be managing access to following applications/frameworks/tools - JIRA, Confluence, VPN, GitHUB, Slack, Okta, Figma, CircleCI, Codacy, Lucidchart and other applications.
You will be deploying and monitoring applications on AWS
You will be creating and driving the DevOps practices and outline
You will be managing the infrastructure to support CI/CD initiatives
You will be responsible for the overall design of cross-functional, multi-platform product solutions; large scale SOA web and mobile-based application systems.
You will be responsible for real-time monitoring and alerting of applications deployed in AWS using Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail and DataDog Services.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related
You will need experience with AWS provisioning using Terraform, Ansible equivalent technologies.
5 years of experience in infrastructure architecture - experience working on cloud technologies in AWS for a minimum of 1-3 years.
You will need experience on AWS EC2, ECS, VPC, Autoscaling, Security Groups, AWS CLI, Cloud watch.
You need to have experience in any of the scripting languages (shell, bash, GO, ruby, python etc.)
You need to have experience in managing AWS infrastructure as an Admin/Root account admin.
Our client prefers a Certified AWS Solutions Architect - Associate OR Certified AWS Solutions Architect - Professional is highly desirable
