    Position Summary:


    The Account Manager, Strategic Markets will help lead Benco Dental's efforts to maintain, expand relationships, and grow opportunities within the "Mid-Market" segment (typically defined as ranging from 10-30 locations), as it relates to Dental Service Organizations (DSO's).

    The individual will be a liaison between Benco's traditional sales force and the defined mid-market customers; maintain healthy relationships with assigned DSO's to achieve sales and profitability goals; represent Benco Dental's products and services, as well as manufacture partners' products and services to assigned customers in an ethical manner; and focus mainly on the DSO's headquarters and those key decision makers within the DSO.

    Achieves assigned sales goals and profitability goals within assigned National Accounts and Regional Large Accounts assigned
    Coordinates and facilitates semi-annual business reviews with mid-market regional groups with field territory representatives
    Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings
    Plans and executes Benco Dentals' strategic plan with customers
    Establishes productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned accounts

    Coordinates the involvement of Benco Dental personnel, manufacture personnel, support and service, and other resources to maintain and grow business opportunities for Benco Dental.

    Including coordination of Regional personnel to meet goals of the customer
    Involved in strategic planning process as related to Benco Dentals' Strategic Markets
    Maintains in strictest confidence the strategic objectives of Benco Dentals' Strategic Markets Department. Including strategic objectives, sales goals and objectives, profit margins, gross margins, customer lists, and other critical information
    Proactively assesses customer needs; while bringing solutions and solution-based ideas to address customer needs
    Effectively communicates with all Benco personnel within Benco Dentals' Strategic Markets
    Displays a high sense of urgency to customer's needs, and other requested information
    Continually prospect for new customers within the defined mid-market segment of the Dental Group Space
    Do YOU Meet These Requirements?
    Four-year college degree from an accredited institution
    Minimum 5 years sales experience, or like experience in business to business environment
    Must have prior dental experience; special markets background/knowledge of special markets is preferred
    Must have a strong sales background
    This position could require extensive travel
    Negotiation & presentation skills
    Communicates effectively with others
    Proficient in Microsoft Office software
