    The Automation product marketing team is looking for a talented individual who can bridge the world of science and business in the high visibility role of Product Manager.

    This is a key role managing the Automated Liquid Handling platform and associated products.


    It involves the following activities:


    Gathering voice-of-customer input and translating customer need into future product development requirementsPerforming market and competitive analysisCreating compelling marketing campaigns and collateral to highlight value propositions and differentiationWorking in a cross-functional team to align vision and build momentum across marketing, R&D, finance, manufacturing, and customer supportBuilding business cases for new investment opportunities backed by data-driven forecast models, and presenting them to division senior managementDeveloping close relationships with a global sales team, and supporting them through generation of customer facing material, delivering sales training for new and existing products, attending scientific conferences, and visiting customer sites.

    RequirementsA successful product manager requires a strong sense of ownership for their portfolio. You will be encouraged to think boldly, ask questions, and voice your ideas.

    Flexibility is expected in this role, as on any day of the week you may need to actively engage in any of the varied aspects that impact your products.

    For example; Monday morning you may be making price adjustments, Tuesday you are building a case to increase manufacturing capacity, Wednesday you may be outlining changes desired on a product webpage.
