- Master's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, public administration, medical management, or equivalent administrative experience
- Experience in leading an undergraduate medical education or a graduate medical education program
- Experience in overseeing quality outcomes for clinical services
- Experience in the development and implementation of new clinical services
- Track record of leading a diverse body of faculty, staff, and learners
- Experience in growing revenue, meeting budgets, assessing clinical and economic performance, and strengthening a department
- Collaborative leadership skills to direct clinical, educational, and research programs of the department
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate well within and outside the department, including with senior leadership, clinical partners, and the community
- Experience in recruiting, mentoring, developing, and retaining qualified faculty, staff, and fellows/residents
- Experience in philanthropy pertinent to an academic department
- Established national reputation for the rank of Professor
- M.D. or 0.0. degree, or equivalent degree
- Texas medical license, or eligibility for Texas medical licensure
- Board certification by the American Board of Radiology
- Qualified for faculty appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or higher
- Leadership experience as a Department Chair, Vice-Chair, Division Chief, Medical Director, Program Director, or other comparable experience in an academic radiology department
- Experience as an actively practicing clinician in an academic medical center
