    is a biopharmaceutical company focused on globalizing products from China and Asia for the world markets in multiple therapeutic areas.

    The Company's lead compound in oncology, HBI‐8000, which is already approved for lymphoma in China and ATLL in Japan. It is also in late-stage clinical development in Korea and in Japan for an additional indication.

    In the United States, the compound is being developed in immune oncology (IO) in multiple tumor types and disease settings.

    Job Summary
    HUYABIO is seeking a self-motivated individual to take a position in a fast-paced environment as a Senior Accountant.

    The Senior Accountant will report to and work closely with the Controller, and others in the organization in the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and controls.

    The ideal candidate possesses solid leadership skills and operational and technical accounting background and works proactively to drive results.

    This person is a self-starter, flexible, has a high level of integrity and is action and goal-oriented in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities
    ·

    Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations to support the monthly close process
    ·

    Manage accounts payable processes including; coding and routing invoices for approval, preparing import file

    for invoice entry, reconciling monthly credit card statements, and reconciling vendor statements
    ·

    Support the monthly and/or quarterly close process by preparing other GL account reconciliations as required
    ·

    Management of accrued expenses to ensure completeness & accuracy for financial reporting
    ·

    Support the Controller and CFO, as applicable, with ad hoc duties
    Job Qualifications and Requirements
    ·

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
    ·

    A minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience
    ·

    Strong understanding of general accounting principles and finance processes set up and operations
    ·

    Experience working in a biotech/pharmaceutical and clinical trial environment
    ·

    Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains preferred
    ·

    Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
    ·

    Strong cross-functional team experience with exceptional written and oral communication
    ·

    Demonstrates strong problem‐solving and leadership skill sets
    ·

    Strong knowledge of US GAAP
    ·

    Highly motivated, passionate, proactive, and confident in identifying problems and solutions
    ·

    Strong multitasking and time management skills

    The position is full‐time, and the candidate must be able to commute to HUYABIO's Del Mar, California office at least part-time each week.
