POSITION SUMMARY: Seeking an individual to build and service automation machine systems both in-house and on-site.

Pay range: $ /hr

Responsibilities

• Build complex automated machines and large automation systems.
• Assist in conceptualizing and building machines and tooling.
• Test, troubleshoot, and modify machine systems.
• Refurbish existing systems and perform project management tasks.
• Design safety guarding for automation machines.
• Collaborate with customers, sales, and engineering teams during testing.
• Travel to customer sites for installations and troubleshooting.
• Provide technical support to maintenance staff.
• Identify process improvements and provide recommendations.

Qualifications

Education: Technical/vocational school certificate or equivalent experience in mechanical/pneumatic assembly. Electrical training is a plus.

Experience/Skills:

• 4-5 years of industrial automation machine assembly experience.
• Field service experience and familiarity with hand and power tools.
• 2 years of experience with large complex automations.
• Basic machining and toolmaking skills.
• Project management experience preferred.
