We are looking to hire TWO (2) Family Coaches proficient in English & Spanish to join our Hermiston Self Sufficiency team.

Bilingual proficiency in English & Spanish is a requirement for this role to better assist the communities we serve.

As a Family Coach, you will collaborate with Oregon families in Hermiston and the local community, this is an in-office position.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science, Social Science, or related field; or equivalent experience.

• Experience in human services-related roles.

• Valid driver's license or reliable transportation required.

• Proficiency in English and Spanish will be tested.

Candidates must demonstrate qualifications in their resume.

• Experience in motivational interviewing and case management.

• Demonstrated ability to multitask and learn continuously.

• Efficiently organize work and manage competing deadlines.

• Strong communication skills and knowledge of community resources.

Your duties:

Provide resources to help individuals move towards well-being and self-sufficiency through various programs.

A Family Coach guides families towards self-sufficiency by assessing needs, linking to services, and creating case plans.

Assist in crisis and safety planning for those experiencing domestic violence.

Working conditions:

• Fast-paced environment with diverse interactions.

• Contact with individuals under emotional stress, requiring compassion and professionalism.

• Work may involve domestic violence cases and community visits.

• Overtime may be required and this is an in-office position.
