    Job Summary: Join our team as a Meat Wrapper Clerk, where you'll provide excellent customer service while wrapping, packaging, scaling, and marking prices on meat products. Your role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and appealing meat department, ensuring safety and efficiency in every task.

    Minimum Required Qualifications:

    • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
    • Basic math skills.
    • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly, and occasionally up to 80-90 lbs.
    • Strong knowledge of safe food handling procedures.
    • Able to stand and walk throughout your shift.
    • Comfortable working in various temperatures.
    • Ability to work with various food products without allergy issues.
    • Tolerate dust and cleaning agents during daily tasks.
    • Friendly interaction with customers.
    • Strong teamwork skills.
    • Flexible to work scheduled shifts and adhere to attendance policies.

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
    • Regularly check refrigeration equipment and report issues promptly.
    • Maintain sanitation standards according to company policies.
    • Stock merchandise and display cases accordingly.
    • Stay informed about the products in the department.
    • Clean all surfaces, utensils, and equipment as required.
    • Ensure floor safety by keeping it free from debris and spills.
    • Perform basic math operations for pricing and inventory checks.
    • Work in cold environments, including refrigerated cutting rooms.
    • Accurately complete reports like daily sales and inventory counts.
    • Be knowledgeable about store item locations and pricing.
    • Promote ongoing charitable initiatives to customers.
    • Maintain a professional appearance as per company policy.
    • Follow food safety standards and use gloves when necessary.
    • Understand country of origin labeling regulations.
    • Adhere to all local, state, and federal food operation regulations.
    • Participate in all training programs as required.
    • Maintain punctuality and regular attendance.
    • Willing to work overtime as needed.
    • Age requirement: Must be 18 or older for equipment operation.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.
