    Duties and Responsibilities

    The VP Marketing will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for market positioning, demand generation, and go-to-market strategy. Reporting directly to the company's President & Founder the VP Marketing will:

    • Lead all aspects of SalonUltimate's marketing initiatives (demand generation, product, brand, content, comms + PR) – with an emphasis on creating a best in class, growth marketing engine that generates repeatable, predictable and scalable revenue.
    • Scale a world-class SMB focused demand generation program that delivers revenue growth above goals. Optimize the sales funnel from lead capture through to customer add-ons, with lead nurturing and marketing automation programs that improve conversion rates, close rates and funnel velocity.
    • Create integrated campaigns and programs for target segments that compel them to consider and buy SalonUltimate's portfolio of products and services.
    • Develop competitive positioning and messaging strategy and communicate the benefits of SalonUltimate across all marketing channels in an effective and engaging way.
    • Oversee product packaging, pricing and competitive research as a means for positioning SalonUltimate's product in the market.
    • Identify and optimize paid and organic channels to drive full-funnel growth.
    • Analyze and improve each step of the sales funnel by transforming complex data into actionable demand generation insights and strategies.
    • Developing and implementing lead nurturing strategy and campaigns.
    • Identify new opportunities for growth, acquisition, expansion and retention on an ongoing basis.

    Professional Qualifications

    • 8+ years of executive marketing leadership, providing strategic input to marketing and business strategy.
    • Experience in B2B, high-growth SaaS companies with a focus on high velocity sales and SMB customers.
    • Proven track record for developing growth marketing strategies that deliver tangible business results and measurable revenue growth.
    • Knowledge of fast-growing environments as well as the ability to take ownership and work with a high level of autonomy.
    • Strong understanding of the marketing and sales funnel and obsession about optimizing and scaling its end-to-end success.
    • Experience marketing with and through channel partners with a preference for experience within the payments industry.
    • Creative and collaborative mentality, eager to implement feedback and ideas from the broader marketing team, sales team and other internal stakeholders.
    • Highly analytical with the ability to clearly articulate and present growth strategy, tactics and results to senior executives.
    • Deep understanding of a highly predictable demand generation machine – conversion rates, attribution, investment models. Must have been accountable for clear demand gen targets.
    • Track record of building, leading and developing high performance marketing teams with ownership of all facets of the marketing stack.
    • Proven experience marketing to services businesses with a preference for SMB clients in the health & beauty industry.
