- Gather and analyze data for the management team to support continuous improvement projects for the Supply Chain Management department through identifying problematic areas and recommending improvements
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and Tableau to find, retrieve, filter, and validate data
- Assist in providing analyses from various aspects of the operation that clearly shows issues and required actions
- Support the department in developing metrics to track performance of improvement plans
- Assist Freight/Logistics in LTL invoice analysis and tender daily shipments for branch locations
- Support the demand planning process
- Support the corporate inventory right-sizing strategy
- Automate work currently done manually in Excel
- Support the customer delivery performance and supplier on-time improvement efforts
- Populate and issue standard weekly/monthly reporting for all areas of supply chain
- Assist Purchasing with confirmations for Invoicing/Price Approvals, acknowledgements, vendor lead-times, material cost analysis, and various compliance topics
- Other duties as assigned
- Experience in a business environment with analytical work preferred - data mining, analysis, reporting
- Previous experience working with freight carriers regarding planning, scheduling and selection preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Excel preferred
- Excellent math and spreadsheet skills and overall PC literacy (Microsoft Office) are required
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with all levels of internal and external stakeholders, partners, and team members
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and planning skills
- Must have advanced writing and communication skills, and be able to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization, as well as actively participate in meetings and group discussions with individuals from various functions of the organization
- Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and disciplined with the ability to multi-task

The Supply Chain Coordinator plays a key role in providing support to the supply chain department and other internal customers. The Coordinator assists with the supervision of inbound and outbound traffic, support various procurement initiatives, and help manage inventory flow throughout the supply chain.

Education
