SUMMARY Develop and implement quality systems with an emphasis on product returns, complaint management, and overall root cause and corrective action measures to drive the CAPA, optimize new product development within a manufacturing environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analyze system data to determine major contributors to poor performing processesPart of cross functional team in developing and improving Quality activitiesActs as a subject matter expert for data acquisition and other Quality software like QC Gage and QC Calc.

Performs other assigned duties as deemed necessary by their manager.

Analyze production and supplier nonconformance data to determine causeAnalyze customer returns to determine underlying root causes in a timely mannerImprove QMS procedures/documents that align with ISO StandardsRoot cause analysis of CAPA process using DMAIC methodology and 8D/5 Why toolsWithout supervision to create PFMEA and Capability Studies, PPAP, for customer deliverables and to improve manufacturing processes.

Review and verify Engineering/Customer prints, familiarize with Reach and RoHS requirements.

RequirementsREQUIRED Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience 5 + years of Quality Engineering experienceExperience with measuring tools and EquipmentProblem solving skills and ability to multi-taskBasic knowledge of quality systems - statistics, and samplingProficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbalDESIREDMaster's degree preferred or Equivalent work experience.

Manufacturing environment experience a plusGD&T/Engineering prints a plusKnowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems standards a plusSalary Description $90k to $110k DOE
