    Job Description

    This position is a paid internship for the summer of 2024. The key objectives include supporting Human Resources projects, including but not limited to: employee engagement survey and action planning, a process simplification project with cross-functional team for our recruitment, orientation, and day one onboarding, and preparation for our annual United Way campaign. Additional project will include completing a skills gap assessment and training plan for our team leaders and technicians.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Assessment and facilitation of skills gap assessment for team leaders and technicians, identifying necessary training resources to meet facility needs.
    • Review 2022 Employee Engagement survey activity to design 2024 campaign and post-engagement survey focus group development with action plans.
    • Lead cross-functional team to facilitate USa project to streamline our recruitment, orientation, and day one onboarding process, presenting findings and proposal to facility leadership.
    • Assist in preparation of our annual United Way Campaign activities.

    Qualifications:

    • 4th year student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Training & Development or Business Administration Degree, or 1st/2nd year Graduate Student in similar field.
    • Previous experience with a Human Resources or Training & Development internship preferred.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Self-motivated with a high attention to detail
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines with minimal supervision required.
