Insurance Underwriter - Management Liability D&O - Chicago, IL

Seeking individual to bring Management Liability underwriting expertise to a stable and growing insurance carrier and drive new business acquisitions, build a greater renewal book, and handle client interactions.

Requirements:

• 3+ years Management Liability underwriting experience.
• Ability to develop pricing lists, define acceptable risk levels, and ensure underwriting activities follow industry standards and regulations.

Activities:

• Evaluate new and renewal submissions for acceptable risk levels, price, quote, and approve new and renewal applications.
• Ensure department performance meets state and federal guidelines and advocate for continuous evaluation and monitoring.
• Interface with finance, marketing, and business development teams to develop new standard products and build upon existing lines.
