    For this hire, we are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Accountant with a desire to work closely with other team members to ensure accurate and timely reporting of transactions.

    Due to the nature of their business, they are seeking someone who will thrive in a small collaborative team while taking ownership of their tasks.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, coupled with hands-on experience managing financial records, cash management, reconciling accounts, and preparing financials.


    Compensation:
    $80,000-$90,000 + bonus


    Schedule:
    Hybrid (80% office/20% remote)

    Job Description

    Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including treasury, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
    Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for review by management.
    Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
    Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
    Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and accuracy.
    Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by management.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    Certified Public Accountant (CPA) eligible candidates.
    3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
    Public Accounting experience preferred but not required.
    Strong experience in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is required.
    Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
    Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
    Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
    Experience in an entrepreneurial environment or startup culture is a plus.
    Ability to adapt to change and embrace new technologies and processes.
