Junior Project Manager

" Basic project management knowledge
" An understanding of Agile methodology
" Good knowledge of Jira and Confluence
" Comfortable with leading groups to drive results
" Running meetings and taking/distributing meeting notes
" Project-level reporting (RAG, issues, risks)
" Organized, self-starter, chasing follow-ups
" MS Office Suite

Supplier Call Notes (4/9 at 1:00 PM EST):
" Enterprise data management is the department for this team... ensuring the data across BNYM is accurate, consistent, etc.
" Data governance team... data governance function is tracked, managed, reported on consistently throughout the organization
" New pods have been implemented... pod sizes vary as lines of business vary
" Team is looking for a junior project manager (2+ years of experience) to work hand in hand with the pod leads
" Supporting the team and mini projects within data governance... Jira tickets, minutes
" Daily/weekly reports, ad hoc requests
" Preferred technology includes Jira, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint, experience embellishing reports via PowerBI is a plus, any SQL and SharePoint experience is a plus
" Previous experience with Agile is a plus as the team is moving into Agile this year
" Go-getter/self-starter mindset
" Financial services experience is preferred to reduce the amount of ramp up time required... learning certain regulatory reporting, business applications
" Regulatory backgrounds can expand beyond financial services backgrounds
" Data experience is highly preferred (knowledge of data cataloguing is a plus)
" Onsite 3 days per week in either Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL
" 1-2 interviews
" Goal is to convert to FTE
