    HealthPartners is currently hiring a Full-Stack Developer - Service Desk Systems. This position is responsible for creating technology-based solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining HealthPartners Internet, Intranet, and Client Server applications. This position supports highly rated, internally developed Service Desk systems. These legacy systems will be transitioned to new technology over the next three to five years.

    Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field
    • 3+ years' experience in object-oriented development using Java (JSP/Servlet, Java Spring, Java Beans, EJB) technologies, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or Microsoft .Net (ASP.NET, VB.NET or C#) using the .NET framework.
    • Experience with Oracle SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or Microsoft Dataverse.
    • Good understanding of system and application infrastructure and database architecture
    • Experience writing technical documentation and business documentation.
    • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to analyze business and technical requirements.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office and general desktop tools.
    • Understanding of core operating systems and platforms
    • Knowledge of full life cycle iterative development; requirements gathering, technical design, development, testing and implementation; Scrum Principles.
    • Health care market knowledge and experience in the health care industry
    • Available for on-call 24/7 support rotation on a periodic basis
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and PowerBI.
    • Experience with WebLogic Application Servers
    • Experience with Customer Service functions.
    • Knowledge of UNIX (VI, Korn Shell)
    Hours/Location:
    • M-F; Days
    • The position is primarily remote but may need to come onsite for occasional events and team meetings.
    • Position will participate in an on-call support rotation (7:00am - 7:00pm). The rotation will occur roughly once every 6 weeks and on-call commitments may change as new technology is added.
    Accountabilities:
    • Creates technology-based solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining HealthPartners Internet, Intranet, and Client Server applications.
    • Defines project objectives by analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.
    • Develops basic user interfaces to Internet/Intranet/Client Server applications by analyzing business requirements and priorities and translating them into an effective user experience.
    • Designs and conducts application tests.
    • Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting.
    • Troubleshoots development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
