    Acara Solutions is seeking a

    Manufacturing QA Engineer

    for a global Aerospace/DOD manufacturer in Blacksburg VA .

    Do you have career experience with

    industrial quality

    regulatory flow-downs and SPC, Gage R&R and statistical tools ?

    Have strong manufacturing experience w/quality

    compliance, quotes and cost reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and preventative actions ?

    Title:
    Manufacturing Quality Assurance Engineer


    Salary range:
    $70 - 75K


    Schedule:
    MO - TH (7am - 4pm/EST)

    and

    FR 7am - 11am/EST)


    Location:
    Blacksburg, VA - 100% Onsite

    Job Type:

    12+ Month / Contract to Direct Hire


    Travel required:
    Yes, limited per client needs


    Job Duties "At-a-Glance":
    Document reviews pertaining to business manufacturing contracts and regulatory flow-downs
    Maintain motion control and electronic components in an industrial setting
    Quote reviews for mfg compliance and quality in relation to budgetary revenue

    Analytical tools use ie:
    SPC, Gage R&R, 5 Why or Fault Trees
    Statistical tools and 6 Sigma to maintain internal and external Quality reports
    Respond to internal and external manufacturing Quality issues
    High emphasis on prevention and training from the company programs and products


    Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
    BS Degree in an Engineering or Industrial Science related field
    3 years' of career experience of manufacturing QA compliance and regulated testing
    MS and ERP IS Systems, Analysis tooling, ie: SPC, Fault Trees, Gage
    Quality management, industrial quotes, mfg statistical processing, preventative actions, quality issues and testing procedures
