    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    The full-time Door Walker acts as a production/warehouse associate, responsible for monitoring quality assurance throughout the production process, along with:
    • Performing quality assurance checks in the field to confirm door orders before production.
    • Reporting any issues to builder and sales team so corrections can be made.
    • Maintaining schedule to complete QA walks before scheduled deadlines.
    • Periodically assisting in warehouse unloading and recieving.
    • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment and observing all safety rules posted in the warehouse.
    ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES:
    • Ability to read and use a tape measure to confirm door openings
    • Ability to read and comprehend construction blueprints
    • Must be able to periodically lift up to 80 pounds
    • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information to others one-on-one
    • Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out simple one or two-step instructions; deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
    LOCATION:

    108 E Slaton Hwy, Lubbock, TX 79404

    PAY:

    $15 per hour

    SCREENINGS:
    • Must have a valid drivers license, insurable, and pass a motor vehicle background.

    Responsibilities

    Acting as a machine operator, utilizing power saws, air nail guns, staplers and other tools needed to prep wood material used to assemble doors.

    Forklift training, certification, and operation.

    Loading, unloading, storing and packaging production material from the warehouse as needed.

    Monitoring quality assurance throughout the production process.

    Maintaining a clean and safe work environment and observing all safety rules posted in the warehouse.
