    Description

    Surgical Nursing Technical Assistant Position Overview:


    The Surgical Services Department at our healthcare facility is seeking a skilled and dedicated Surgical Nursing Technical Assistant I.


    This role plays a vital part in the operating room team, supporting surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses to provide high-quality patient care.



    Responsibilities and Requirements:


    • To assist with preparing patients for surgery by positioning them on the operating table, ensuring their comfort and safety during procedures.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:


    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments.
    • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record systems is desirable but not essential.

    Prior Experience Required:


    • A minimum of one year's experience as a Licensed Nurse Associate (LNA) within a hospital setting or similar environment will be considered an asset.

    Licenses/Certifications Required: Current Vermont State LNA License,
    BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
    We are looking for someone who can demonstrate sound judgment under stressful conditions while maintaining professionalism throughout the surgical suite.
    The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills and moderate knowledge of computer basics.
    Payscale = $31.99/hour
