AWS services for High Performance Computing (HPC) help customers easily and cost-effectively use the cloud for traditional HPC applications, like genomics, life sciences research, financial risk analysis, computer-aided design, and seismic imaging, to the emerging applications like machine learning, deep learning, and autonomous vehicles.

Product Marketing is responsible for developing crisp, highly differentiated, and compelling positioning and messaging for AWS and its services. We tell AWSs most important and interesting stories to educate customers about what is possible when you build on AWS.

    We are looking for an experienced senior product marketing manager to join the High Performance Computing Product Marketing team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to create messaging, positioning, content and drive exciting product launches for our services and solutions for High Performance Computing. Working closely with product management and field teams, you will own the marketing strategy and work with other AWS marketing teams to execute on that strategy.

    This role can sit in either Santa Clara/Bay Area, CA or Seattle, WA USA only. Relocation available to these locations only from within the USA only.

    Key job responsibilities

    Test and refine new marketing approaches and channels to reach and engage key audiences

    Craft and develop compelling audience and initiative specific messages and tools (product videos, ebooks, solution briefs, presentations and other collateral specific to different audiences or campaigns.

    Develop market and competitive intelligence expertise that can inform messaging

    Build and maintain strong relationships with product management, sales, partner, and program teams to drive co-marketing and distill key functionality and benefits into core product marketing messages

    Identify and execute on breakthrough product marketing activities that reach target audiences effectively

    Develop and be accountable for account, industry, and partner marketing campaigns, working with the appropriate teams

    Work effectively across AWS with groups including sales, business development, and evangelists to achieve business goals

    Execute highly-impactful product launches that help drive awareness and adoption for HPC services

    Drive the strategy, messaging, positioning, and content for first and third-party events

    Partner with AR and PR teams to increase awareness and perception of AWS for high-performance computing

    Basic Qualifications

    7+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

    Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

    Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

    Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

    Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches

    Bachelor's degree

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis

    Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting

    MBA

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
