- 1 year experience in an emergency room (ER) within a hospital
- Advanced cardiac monitoring skills
- Ability to care for both emergent and non-emergent patients
- Performing head-to-toe assessments and recognizing normal vs. abnormal findings
- Phlebotomy proficiency
- Strong critical thinking skills for urgent/emergent care
- Understanding of hemodynamics
- Basic IV and central line competencies
- Identification and management of life-sustaining functions in unstable patients
- Additional duties as assigned
- Active Registered Nurse License issued by the State of Oklahoma
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire
- ACLS and PALS certifications within 6 months of hire
- NIH Stroke certification by the end of Clinical Nursing Orientation
