    Your job as the DC Wave Planner is to work closely with the DC Operations Planner, DC Supervisor team, and Customer Service to coordinate the daily workload for all Ecommerce and Wholesale orders.

    You are responsible for waving batches of orders that will be processed and shipped according to customer expectations.

    Additionally, you will track the progress of waves, release more work to the floor as needed, and will be expected to maintain an open line of communication with various departments in around the distribution center.

    Our business is constantly evolving and the work youll be responsible for will have a tremendous impact on the DCs ability to maintain the high level of service Brooks is known forResponsibilities Engage management, operational leadership and warehouse associates to assist in maintaining service levels, quality expectations, and productivityAnalyze wave and task configuration to maximize efficiency and develop new processes and rules that improve DC flow and performanceWork with Customer Service and the DC Operations Planner to ensure that all orders are planned and prioritized to meet or exceed customer expectationsPartner with the Inventory Department regarding shortages, maintaining inventory logs and making order adjustments based on feedback from operationsNotify the DC Operations team (DC Supervisors and DC Leads) of all requested changes from customers regarding scheduling, processing and shippingCoordinate special, expedited order requests with the customer service, operations and transportation groupsCoordinate daily workload accordingly with all Inbound and Outbound departmentsProcess daily invoicing and billingPerform data entry and records compilationServe as backup for creating bills of lading and submit for routingKeep DC Supervisor team informed about discrepancies that could impact FTZ complianceSpecial projects as assignedQualifications High School diploma or equivalent2+ years of experience working in a fast-paced warehouse requiredExperience with WMS systems (Softeon, Manhattan, Red Prairie, etc.) and RF barcode scanners, requiredProficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.), requiredExperience with wave creation and workload planning, preferred.

    Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detailExceptional ability to deal with adverse situations positively.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to interact effectively with others. Be a team player.
